Anil Kumar Verma is a 33-year-old man with Post-Polio Residual Paralysis in both lower limbs. Despite this significant physical challenge, Anil refused to be defined by his disability.
With support from FOD's Apna Rozgar Scheme, Anil was able to establish himself in a small business of his own. The assistance provided — both financial and through counselling — gave him the tools, the platform, and the confidence to build a sustainable livelihood.
Today, Anil not only supports himself but contributes to his family's welfare, embodying the very spirit that FOD was founded upon: that disability is not inability.
